As an environmental artist and art teacher,
Art is a powerful tool to reflect on the importance of saving our planet, loving ourselves, and reconnecting with nature. Every artistic expression becomes a small but meaningful step in the larger mission of caring for the Earth.

Earth Day is more than a celebration—it’s an act of gratitude for what we have and a prayer for the planet’s continued resilience through natural disasters and human impact. But beyond reflection, we must act. It is in our hands to recycle daily, to educate others, and to spark conversations about sustainability.

As an art teacher, my mission goes beyond creating beautiful hands-on projects. It is about nurturing awareness in my students—a consciousness that empowers them to care, to speak up, and to fight for our only home: Earth. Monica Chavarria

I am a Colombian Artist. I have the pleasure of inviting you to the opening of the exhibition, "Colombia, Land of Colors", a project in which I have been working, by honoring the traditions, biodiversity, and human talents in Colombia thru Art. After done this virtual event, I have now the opportunity to exhibit at the Newark Consulate, with two of my friends, celebrating Latino Heritage Month and National Day of the Colombian Migrant.
